My approach is designed to suit your needs, personality, and situation. Individuals often see me because they are conflicted about an important situation or change in their life. Many times, they are experiencing disappointment and frustration. This may lead to difficulties with anger, withdrawal, ruminating, lowered confidence in relationships or at work, or diminished personal happiness. Other individuals are simply looking to become more self-aware and grow through self-reflection. No matter what the initial reason for beginning psychotherapy, feeling heard and understood is an important part of the work.
With support and a confidential environment, my clients increase personal insight and explore new ways of coping, learn new skills, and make changes to patterned ways of reacting. This ultimately allows for real change in situations that previously were not working.
I would be happy to speak with you about how psychotherapy can help with your specific situation. I look forward to working collaboratively with you on your current concerns.
